Khizr Khan practices law in Washington, DC and New York State and Federal Courts. He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of United States of America and the State Courts of New York and Washington, DC and also admitted to practice law before the United States District Court, Southern District of New York and United States District Court, Western District of New York.
He teaches CLE courses and seminars regarding complex litigation, electronic discovery including cross border discovery and HIPPA compliance including Security and Privacy laws to lawyers and other professionals.
From 2010 to present, he has been practicing law with focus on general civil and business matters. His legal services include dispute resolution by arbitration, litigation consulting, corporate governance, general counsel services for entrepreneurs, employment and contract management services for general business, construction and asset management clients from his New York and Washington, DC law offices.
From 2007 to 2010 he was Director of Law Technology & Electronic Discovery at a major global law firm based in New York, and from 1998 to 2007, he managed, firm wide, Litigation Technology Services group at a major international law firm in Washington, DC.
He holds LL.B degree from University Law College, Punjab University; LL.M in International Organizations and International Trade Law from University of Missouri Law School and LL.M from Harvard Law School, Harvard University.
Mr. Khan is founder President of Democracy and Constitution Institute, Washington DC; in this capacity his work includes speaking and writing to defend practice of Democracy and Rule of Law at various national and international forums.
His law office provides pro bono legal services to the veterans, their families and the families of the women and men serving in uniform.
